All students may be screened annually for Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) identification via parent consent.  If you would like your child screened for GATE identification, please request testing at your Fall parent conference.  If you would like more information about the testing and identification process please join us for a District sponsored parent education workshop on Monday, October 29^th in the District Office Training Room at 6:00pm.  Ondrea Reed, Assistant Superintendent of Education Services, will facilitate the workshop that provides parents with an in depth overview of how students are identified for GATE identification in Los Alamitos Unified.
