Dear Hopkinson Families,

Welcome back to another wonderful year at Hopkinson! I am so excited and incredibly honored to serve as your Hopkinson PTA President for the 2026–2027 school year. 

My name is Allyson Bader. Our family has been blessed by the incredible teachers, staff, and families that make Hopkinson such a special place, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to give back to a school that has already given so much to us. One of the things I love most about Hopkinson is the sense of community. This is a school where families show up for one another, volunteers jump in to help wherever they’re needed, and our students are surrounded by adults who truly care about helping them succeed. That spirit of kindness, teamwork, and generosity is what makes Hopkinson feel like home.

The Hopkinson PTA exists to support every student, every teacher, and every family. Throughout the year, we’ll bring our community together through memorable events, family activities, enrichment opportunities, staff appreciation, and programs that help make our school experience even more meaningful. None of this happens without the support of our amazing families.

Whether you have a few hours a month, a few hours a year, or simply want to become a PTA member, there is a place for you. You don’t have to serve on a committee or attend every event to make a difference. Becoming a member, volunteering when you’re able, or simply showing up to support our students all help strengthen our school community.

Please consider taking the following action steps to become an active part of our Hopkinson community:

• Become a PTA Member: Joining the PTA is one of the easiest ways to support our school! No experience is necessary, and there are no volunteer requirements to become a member. Your membership helps fund programs and events that benefit every student, and it gives you a voice through voting rights that help shape the future of our school.
• Stay Connected: Create an account on our PTA website and subscribe to our weekly Paw Print newsletter to stay informed about upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, important reminders, and everything happening around campus. Our website is also where you’ll purchase items such as spirit wear, yearbooks, emergency kits, and tickets for many of our family events throughout the year.
• Join the Conversation: Attend our PTA Association Meetings throughout the year. These meetings are a great opportunity to hear school updates, learn about upcoming events, share ideas, ask questions, and help shape the goals of our PTA.
• Get Involved and Volunteer: Whether you have an hour to spare, can help from home, enjoy planning events, or have a special talent to share, we’d love to have you involved. There is a volunteer opportunity for every schedule, and every helping hand makes a difference. Together, we can create meaningful experiences and lasting memories for our Huskies.

As I begin my first year as PTA President, I am excited to learn, grow, and serve alongside an incredible Executive Board, dedicated volunteers, our amazing school staff, and all of you. My hope is that every family feels welcomed, valued, and connected because together, we create the kind of school community our children will remember for years to come.

Thank you for trusting me with this opportunity. I cannot wait to see all that we’ll accomplish together and make this an unforgettable year for our Huskies.
