Dear Hopkinson Families,

Welcome to our amazing school!

It is my honor to serve as the president of your Hopkinson PTA this year. It will be a bittersweet one for me, as it is my daughter’s 5th grade year. I remember like it was yesterday, being a brand-new Kindergarten parent thinking we would be at Hopkinson forever, and now here we are!

If you are at all curious about PTA, please flag me down in the hall. I would love to talk with you about your experience with Hopkinson, what we do in PTA, and how you might get involved. Don’t worry about a huge commitment, or that you’re not creative, or that you can’t spend a lot of time on campus, or whatever might have stopped you in the past – we could not do the work we do to enrich the environment for our kids without every kind of volunteer. I mean it when I say there is a volunteer opportunity for all types of skills and interests and for any time our families have to give!

Here you can become a member of PTA, as well as subscribe to our calendar and Paw Print newsletter, so you always know what’s going on at our school. You can also purchase emergency kits, yearbooks, spirit gear, and tickets to amazing PTA events like carnival and campout (all of which you will be the first to hear about from our calendar and Paw Print newsletter – see how important it is to become a PTA member and subscribe!).

It is most important to me to continue developing our wonderful Hopkinson community. I believe there is no better way for families to feel bonded to our school and to each other than to volunteer and participate in what PTA has going on. Won’t you consider joining us?
