Welcome back Huskies and Families. Friends of Hopkinson is excited to announce a new board, and new exciting ways to be involved. 

FOH is a parent-founded not-for-profit fundraising group created over a decade ago in response to diminishing state and federal funding support for public education in our state.  Our PTA sponsors many programs at Hopkinson, but they are restricted by State and National PTA rules, as well as their bylaws, that prohibit the funding of personnel, among many other restrictions. Unlike PTA, FOH is not restricted and is able to use all funds raised to support foundational and enrichment programs at Hopkinson Elementary School. Different from PTA, FOH is 100% guided by its volunteers. 

FOH will be hosting two informational meetings this month. The 1st meeting will be held at 8:15 a.m. on Aug. 26th at Kids Corner. We will also be hosting an informational evening meeting on Aug. 26th at 6:00 p.m. at the Seal Beach Winery. We would love for new and seasoned parents to meet the new board, make new friends, and find ways to get involved. We hope to see you all there.
